At this time, members of the audience may address the Board regarding Closed Session agenda items. The Board President will introduce each item. Normal procedure on action items includes: (1) Motion and second will be made on each item to begin discussion; (2) Questions or clarification by Board members and receiving additional background information or analysis from the administration on the item proposed for action; (3) Hear comments from the audience, so the Board may receive input from the public prior to the Board's discussion; (All requests to address the Board must be on the green speaker slip and must be turned into the Superintendent's secretary prior to the start of the meeting.  No requests to address the Board will be accepted after the start of the meeting.  Regular meetings are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.) (4) Members of the Board will enter into discussion; and (5) Taking action on the agenda item.

         
2. Adopt Resolution No. 12-13-50, Recognizing the Contributions of Retirees to the San Jacinto Unified School District      (V)  
 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt  Resolution No. 12-13-50, Recognizing the Contributions of District Retirees.

This is an opportunity for the Board of Trustees to solicit and review input from the public regarding the transfer and use of Tier III categorical program funds.  

         
2. Public Hearing Regarding the Preliminary Environmental Assessment for Proposed School Site on Lyon Avenue      (D)  
 

This is an opportunity for the Board of Trustees to solicit and review testimony from the public regarding the Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) for the proposed school site located at 425 N. Lyon Avenue in San Jacinto, California.

4. Approve Stipulated Expulsions      (V)  
 

The Superintendent's Designee Committee and family have agreed upon conditions of expulsion through the stipulated expulsion process. It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Superintendent's Designee Committee recommendations.

         
5. Approve Head Start Preschool Program Area Plans, Policies and Procedures, and Parent Policy Committee By-Laws.      (V)  
 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Head Start Preschool Program Area Plans, Policies and Procedures, and the Parent Policy Committee By-Laws.

         
6. Approve San Jacinto High School's Request for an Overnight Field Trip - Grad Night      (V)  
 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip for the Class of 2013 to attend Grad Night at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

         
7. Approve Physical Education Exemptions      (V)  
 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Physical Education Exemptions.

Key goals and activities of each school's Single Plan for Student Achievement will be presented to the Board of Trustees for review.
