Members of the audience are invited to address the Board at this time. (All requests to address the Board must be on the green speaker slip and must be turned into the Superintendent's secretary prior to the start of the meeting.  No request to address the Board will be accepted after the meeting begins. The Regular Board meetings are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.) In accordance with Board Policy 9323, individual speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to address the Board on an agenda or non-agenda related item. A total of 21 minutes is allocated for each subject matter. The Board is legally only able to act on items on the published agenda. No action can be taken on a non-agenda item discussed during public comment time.

  Consent agenda items are considered routine, requiring no discussion, and are normally all approved at one time by the Board. A Board member may request that an item be withdrawn from the consent list and acted upon separately.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Consent Agenda.

3. Adopt Resolution No. 14-15-32, Authorizing San Jacinto Unified School District to Apply for and Secure Grant Funding from the South Coast AQMD PA #2015-06 AB 923 School Bus Replacement Program      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 14-15-32, Authorizing San Jacinto Unified School District to Apply for and Secure Grant Funding from the South Coast AQMD PA #2015-06 AB 923 School Bus Replacement Program.

6. Approve Revised Certificated Salary Schedules      (V)

  The revised Classified Salary Schedules are presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
8. Approval of a Salary and Health and Welfare Increase for all Certificated Managers, Classified Managers and Confidential Employees      (V)  
  A salary and health and welfare increase for all Certificated Managers, Classified Managers and Confidential Employees (excluding Cabinet level employees - Superintendent, Classified and Certificated Assistant Superintendents) is presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
9. Approval of New Salary Schedule for the Superintendent, Certificated and Classified Assistant Superintendents (Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Educational Services, and Personnel)      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the new Salary Schedule for the Superintendent, Certificated and Classified Assistant Superintendents (Business Services, Educational Services and Personnel).
         
10. Approve Revised Certificated Stipend, Classified Alternative Assignment, Classified Substitute Hourly, Classified Substitute By Position and Tutor Salary Schedules      (V)  
  The revised salary schedules for Certificated Stipend, Classified Alternative Assignment, Classified Substitute Hourly, Classified Substitute By Position and Tutor Salary Schedules are presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
11. Revised Job Description for Director, Technology Services      (V)  
  The revised job description for Directory, Technology Services is presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
12. Revised Job Description for Special Education Compliance Manager      (V)  
  The revised job description for Special Education Compliance Manager is presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
13. Approve the 2015-2016 Single Plans for Student Achievement      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the 2015-2016 Single Plans for Student Achievement.
         
14. Approve SJUSD 2015-2016 Bell Schedules      (V)  
  The 2015-2016 Bell Schedules are presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
         
15. Approve Fourth Grade Student Acceleration to Fifth Grade for the 2015-2016 School Year      (V)  
  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the acceleration of the fourth grade student to fifth grade for the 2015-2016 school year.
         
16. Approve New Course - Introduction to Statistics      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the new Introduction to Statistics course at San Jacinto High School.
         
17. Approve New Course - Sustainable Agriculture      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the new Sustainable Agriculture course at San Jacinto High School.

         
18. Approve New Course - Agriculture and Soil Chemistry      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the new Agriculture and Soil Chemistry course at San Jacinto High School.
         
19. Approve New Course - Agriculture Systems Management      (V)  
  It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the new Agriculture Systems Management course at San Jacinto High School.

         
20. Approve New Course - Agriculture Mechanics         (V)
